Further to ensure our blades are ready for the most challenging soil conditions our blades need to pass a battery of tests that give us confidence in the reliability of our product and commitment to our customers.

Hardness Testing: Our boron steel blades are maintained between hardness of 46-50 HRC so the blades can take on any obstacles such as rocks while working the soil.

Elasticity Test: Hard is not tough. Toughness requires strength as well as ductility, this allows the blades to deform and return to its original shape before fracturing. To check this property in our blades a load is applied at various points on the blade. It should deform when the load is applied and return to its original shape once the load is released.

Impact Testing: To simulate unexpected stresses and load on the blades during soil tillage an impact test is performed. A load is dropped on the blade form a certain height at various stress concentration points.
